Tylers favorite way to sleep

I have tried everything to not get Tyler to sleep face planted into everything but I guess this is the most comfortable position for him. If I ever want him to take a good long nap just press his face into whatever he is sleeping on and he will sleep like a log.

Tyler is starting to scoot along and the other day he finally got up on his knees and starting rocking. My little baby will be crawling before we know it.

Ok, Ok. I know I keep putting bugs on my blog but I just can't get over how big they are down here. The other morning I went to go check my garden and almost my entire bell pepper bush had been eaten. On the bush I found this hungry little guy and I think he was so big because he spent all night eating my whole plant.

While in Savannah we were able to spend a day at the beach. We had a great time and Andrew LOVED playing in the water.

Trip to Savannah, Georgia

Last week we were able to take a family vacation to Savannah, Georgia. The weather was perfect and couldn't have been better. We were able to take the boys to the Atlantic Ocean for the first time and it was even warm enough to go swimming. Andrew loved the water and we couldn't keep him out of it. Next to Savannah is a small town called Tybee island (where we went swimming) and we were able to visit the tallest light house in Georgia. While in Savannah, we also visited the famous Forsyth park that had HUGE beautiful trees and fountains. It was gorgeous.

Germany for the weekend

Last weekend we drove up to Helen, a small German town in North East Georgia. While there we camped at a local state campground and it couldn't have been any better. The weather was perfect and we all had a great time.

Andrew loves his new pillow

So we finally decided to give Andrew a pillow and he has been happily sleeping with it every night. I went in to check on him the other day during nap time and for the first time he was sleeping on the floor instead of his new big boy bed. Apparently his new pillow had fallen on the floor and instead of picking it up and putting it back on the bed he just transfered to where the pillow was instead of the pillow transferring to him. I guess he just loves his new pillow!

Scary Spiders

So I walked into my laundry room to get something and there is this HUGE fuzzy spider on the floor. I thought it was some weird kind of tarantula. I called Bryan and told him he needed to come kill it and he had no idea why I was freaking out over a little spider. Little did he know it wasn't so little. He himself was totally freaked out and he tried to kill it but naturally out spider killer spray was above the dryer so he couldn't reach it without getting VERY close to the spider. He managed to get the spray and as soon as he sprayed it HUNDREDS of little spiders jumped off the big spider. Turns out it wasn't fluffy at all but rather covered in about 1,000 babies making it look huge. Lucky for me Bryan took care of it and killed all of the spiders for me.

We finally decided it was time to move Andrew to a big boy bed and get him out of the crib so that Tyler could move in. Believe it or not he LOVES his new bed and we have yet to have a problem. He has been sleeping in his bed for several weeks now and each night he crawls into the bed all by himself and tucks himself in. It is wonderful! I decided to put Tyler in bed with him and he loved being able to share his new big bed with his baby brother.

Finally we are getting grass

We have lived in our house for two years now and we have been looking at a dirt backyard this entire time. A year and a half ago we layed down some seed but naturally it takes time. We are just now starting to get enough grass that it looks decent and Andrew can finally go outside and play. We are so excited.
