The Alamo

On the fourth day we drove to San Antonio and went and the saw the temple and the Alamo. Luck have it, it rained. It had not rained in over three months and we just happened to get there as it started. We first went to the temple but it was closed. They must have had a big wind come through (who knows) but a lot of the stain glass windows on the temple were knocked out so it was closed. After that we went downtown and saw the Alamo but the rain made it real fun to see seeing that everything was outdoors.

Day Three Texas

On the third day we went to Lubbock Texas where we met up with Bryan's brother Shawn and traded trucks (the whole reason why we went). All there was so see was the temple so we saw it, had lunch and headed out. What an exciting day!

Texas Trip Day 2

On day two we drove through Dallas and stopped by and saw the temple.

Our trip to Texas Day 1

So our very first day we drove to Alabama and went to the childrens museum. It was AWESOME. Ourside of another lady and her little boy we had the ENTIRE museum to ourselves. Andrew and Tyler could go where ever, when ever. They both had a great time. They drove boats, cars, space ships (as you can see Tyler is pretty mad that he is not driving), colored, you name it. They had a huge room where the kids could dress up like they were from the 1800's and so naturally I dressed Andrew up as a little girl (which made his dad real happy). At first he liked it and was even pushing around the little baby buggy and enjoying a sip of tea with me but that soon ended and he didn't want to wear anything. All in all we had a great time.

Bry's Shed

So here is the base of the shed that Bryan has built. Each summer Bryan has decided to take on a project (fence-07, attic-08) and this year he decided to build a shed in the backyard. It will be a lot of work but once it is all said and done we will FINALLY have a place to put all of our tools.
