Mahone Bay-Novia Scotia
While in the southern part of Novia Scotia we spent most of our time in Mahone Bay. It was a cute, quiet town on the ocean that we quite enjoyed. While there we spent a day at a near by cities Fisheries Museum. We were able to see HUGE 40 pound lobsters, fish, jelly fish and anything that lives up in that part of the ocean. They had three boats outside that we could go see what it was like to be on a fishing boat that was out to see for several months. In the water there were several beautiful purple jelly fish. There was a huge lobster trap that they let the boys try to get caught in but as you can see they were able to crawl right back out. Looks like my boys are smarter than lobsters! All in all we had a great time at Mahone Bay.
