Cabot Trail- Cape Breton, Novia Scotia
Today we went on the GORGEOUS drive on the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, Novia Scotia. It was a long curvy road past mountains, ocean and cliffs. We ended up going twice because Tyler spent the entire time throwing up in his back car seat the entire drive because the roads were so curvy. The second time we drove much slower and made sure Tyler was staring out the window the entire time or sleeping. It was a beautiful drive covered yet again in wild lupin flowers. I made Bryan stop at an abandoned ski resort where the entire hill from the top to the bottom was covered in flowers. As we continued on we visited a very small city called Meat Cove at the very top of the Cabot Trail. It was a beautiful city far from any other kind of civilization but it was breathtaking. We stopped for a bowl a sea food chowder and it was SOOO good. We fell in love with that little restaurant in the middle of no where.
