For Andrew's first birthday he had 8 kids come to his party. Each child had a birthday hat to celebrate and Andrew was not very fond of his hat. We were able to keep it on his head for about 10 minutes but then he decided he had had enough. A cake was made for his birthday but it was white with white frosting so Andrew has his own special cupcake made up with chocolate frosting just so he could get a little bit more dirty for that special first birthday. He actually did very well with his cupcake and didn't make too much of a mess seeing that e is only one.

What a fun 1st birthday. I'm looking forward to letting Amy get messy with her first cake as well. How are you doing? Any news on the new baby? Have you found out what you are having yet? Hope you are surviving the final stretch :)
