While in Acadia there were some men fixing the road and Andrew could not stop staring at them. They asked him if he wanted to take a ride in his tractor and he was so excited. He did a great job fixing the roads.

Maine- Acadia National Park and Bar Habor

So we are now in the gorgeous state of Maine at Acadia National Park. It is rated in the top three national parks in the U.S. and I now see why it is ranked so high. It was so beautiful we started looking into University's in the area so that we could always be surrounded by its beauty.

New Hampshire-North Conway

So we decided to take another train ride (seeing that our boy love trains) but this was more of the country side rather than straight up a mountain. As always everyone had a great time.

New Hampshire- Mt. Washington-The coldest place on earth!!!

So we spent a week in North Conway, New Hampshire just north of Lake Winnapasakee (?) and it was breathtakingly gorgeous. We drove about 30 min. north of where we were staying and took a Cog Train to the top of Mt. Washington the coldest place on earth. This crazy mountain can get wind speeds over over 200 miles an hour while -40 degrees outside. This is exactly why we went in the summer not winter. One year they almost got 600 inches of snow. Can you believe that, 600!!! Anyways, we took the crazy train up to the top of the mountain and it was gorgeous once we got up there. They said that on a scale from 0-10 we were at a 9. The weather was great and you could see for miles. They did a have pile of snow up there that Andrew and Tyler got to play in.

Nantucket- Massachusetts

So while we were in Cape Cod we took an hour long ferry ride one day out to the beautiful island of Nantucket. There was hardly anything to do there seeing that we had two children and a dog there were not very many places we could go or things we could see. We did however get to go to their local kids beach, library and a small restaurant before heading back to Cape Cod. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful boat ride and we all had a great time.
