Massachusetts- Cape Cod
So this is our first home away from home. We rented a three bedroom, two bath apartment in Cape Cod and LOVED it. We were right on the beach and took the boys down everyday. Our very first night that we arrived we found several horse shoe crabs that had swam up to the beach. We found tons of cool rocks and sea shells to bring home throughout the week that we were there.
Connecticut
So we have so far already been to South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania but we will have to get to those pictures later since they are on our computer that is in our fifth wheel that is getting fixed. For now we are just going to continue on with our trip from the accident on.
Here we are staying at a lovely camping spot in Connecticut. We only spent one night so we didn't get to see much, however we did drive through the state so we got to see a good portion of the state. We did love Connecticut. It was very beautiful and well kept up.
The campsite that we stayed at had a small lake the boys loved. We only spent one night there but the one day that we were there they spent all morning and all night at throwing rocks into the water.
Around the World in 80 days
So we decided to take a trip this summer up to Canada and back in 90 days. We left on May 7th and I had intended to update our blog frequently to let everyone know where we are and what we have done. We had been out less than a week when Bryan was pulling out of our campsite in Pennsylvania and accidentally hit a cement post. We drove to New Hampshire to the nearest Camping World to assess the damage and to get it fixed and they said the damage is around $11,000-$12,000 to get fixed (thank goodness for insurance) and three weeks. We have now been staying in hotels, cottages, cabins and homes waiting within the general area for it to get fixed so that we can continue on our journey up to Canada.

Okefanokee Swamp
Last year for Spring Break we took the boys to the Okefanokee Swamp in Southern Georgia. We loved it so much that we went back again and had just as great of a time. Once again there were alligators EVERYWHERE and the weather was perfect. We took a guided tour into the swamp to see the gators and had a great time.
